Last summer weekend: so lets party!!!

So we keep on with hot humid I-ffel-like-Jumping-in-the-harbour weather. I like it – although inside it gets very hot, at the events. So I go more for the outdoor events this weekend.
The songwriters festival is at Onkel Dannys plads in Vesterbro, going on for 3 days. Check it out, with loads of singer song writers. A good place to get laid.
Another Festival is Karrusel, which is a ‘OPEN AIR electronic music festival in Refshaleøen. The festival presents international house and techno music and new Danish talents of all dancy genres across 3 stages. Its Friday and Saturday

The street Party is in Sidegaden (Saxogade) in Vesterbro. / And the Flee markets of the weekend includes: Sound4U instruments and Amps and pedals.

Thursday 29th
Don’t miss the chance to hear one of Denmark’s leading New black metal bands in all it’s might and with brand new material! Orm is playing at Alice. It’s a metal Band in a world music place, and already sold out.So yu have to be clever and Lucky to find some tickets. But nothing is impossible for the hardy:

In Ungdomshuset D61 they have a little fast and loud Hard Core Punk Concert. Two Swedish bands: Scumbag Millionaire and Deadheads. Local Taunus are warming up gor this Thursday event. Bring Cash for bar and entrance.

The Name of the band is Hazemaze. And the name says is all. It a stoner / Doom band from Sweden and they are about to release there second album. They are accompanied with another Nordic Brotherhood band. Saint Korloff is a more Doom in your painfull ears. Its at Lygtens Kro and starts at 10 Pm.

Friday 30th

For the best ethnic dance event this evening head for Alice and Rob from Ghana. The Accra-born pianist and frontman, only released a few albums in small quantities, yet two of them are among the most sought-after records from 70’s Africa.
Go and find some legendary High Life Root Music. It’s the Chance of a lifetime.

In Loppen Outta Endz are presenting an evening with the coolest Jungle. They have Double O (UK) and Theory (UK) on there first visit in Denmark. So hands up and start you with Drum N Bass and the evening.

H15 at Kødbyen are having the one year birthday Party. Kresten Osgood are here with his Drums, and a Organ band. Free Sangria !!!

Saturday 31st

Its a long time since we had psych in Copenhagen. But here it is with The warlocks from West Cost US, that has been active since the 1990´s They are accompanied by another psych band, The Stevenson Ranch Davidians. Its an evening for flying away on your eternal purple cloud.

Finally Stengade are opening up again, and that is with a legendary retro event. Propdenoppopklop are back from the 1990ties with an evening of Indie Rock. Its all because of the 25 aniversary of the Chrunchy Frog Record label . On The Stage will be The Mopeds (Se) Death Tothe and EPO-555. It is an evening of reunion and Gray (or no) Hair.

It’s the last event for this summer at Bølgen in the Harbour by Kalvebod Brygge. An impressive DJ line up start up with Anders Midtgaard, followed up by Steen Kong and taken further by Rasmus Lützen. Pure Ear Pleasure for your mind, body and soul. /

The Street Party of the week is in the former squaded house Bumzen I Baldersgade, Nørrebro. Stage with bands and concerts, a bar, with beers and Drinks, a marketplace. All this out on the street.  only Cash

Balkan vs Swing #25 is Hot Hot Hot in Operaen Christiania. The sweat will be running when the Dance floor opens up, for this amazing concert. Comme in good time, as it limited space.  remember cash for the entry and bar

Monday September 2nd

The US President – Voldemort – is Luckily not Coming anyway. But still there will be a lot of demonstrations all over the city. You can join the one from the US embassy at 5 pm  And there is also the Trump Baby Demo

Fanø Free Folk Festival returns with the cozy Free Folk Mondays at ALICE.

Tuesday 3rd

You should give yourself a chance and go listening to Nuri. Mixing deep bass, organic percussion with poly rhythmic grooves, this guy from Tunesia is doing it alrright. Go to Alice and get your Boat rocked.
