The Copenhagen community is quite big and open for newcomers. We even have a Rainbow square, close to the Town Hall. There is also a LGBT film festival: Mix Copenhagen in oktober-november 2018.
And in 2012 Copenhagen will host both the World Pride and the Outgames – calling it Copenhagen 2021.
The Annual Pride week is in the 3rd week of August, and takes place on the Town Hall Square
Generally speaking the city is quite safe. Most gay bars is close to The Town Hall square – Rådhuspladsen. Studie Stræde, Rainbow Square, Lavendelstræde, Lars Bjørns Stræde. Under the bar section you can find some of the best Gay bars.
