The three big beer brands: Tuborg, Carlsberg and Royal dominates the market, and the beer they produce, is a sort ”of one taste fits all”

But there is also a large number of micro breweries and the last years Denmark have gode through a beer revolution. So find the smaller bars, and try something new!!!

Wine is being grown in Denmark, but my good friend who has a winebar tells me that none of it is realy good.
Generaly speaking: the further out of the old city you get: The cheaper and more local. Smoking is permitted in smaller bars < 40 sqm, and cigarettes is quite cheap at 40 kr a packet. 

Old City:
Mayby they are not in your local guide book, nor in tripadvisor, but local places with a good atmosphere.
