Bikes are the backbone of all transport in the city, and Copenhagen is Bicycle city number one in the world. (Competing with Amsterdam). You can find bike tracks everywhere, and new bike and pedestrian bridges across the harbour.
In Copenhagen there are more bikes than people and a constant lack of parking space. It is fast, clean and cheap transport. It keeps us healthy and slim. The only little thing is the amounts of bikes being stolen. In 2016 it was around 18.000 bikes.
so find a bikes and get wheeling around. if you are not an experinced biker, be careful. Especially in the rush hours. It is crazy, but easy to learn. 😉
