The summer keps on being absolutely fantastic. The weather is so warm, the water in the harbour is nice to swim in, so right now you get the best that Copenhagen can offer.

Carpark Festival July 27-28^th is placed at the parking lot under the Aabuen highway on the border between Frederiksberg and Nørrebro. They present upcoming bands from Copenhagen and surroundings, so you can find something that suites your music taste. It is free, and there are bars and food trucks.

And there are more upcoming bands in Huset, where the ”Summer in the City” festival is taking place. Its free entry and right in the center of the Copenhagen, so it should be easy to find.

Feel like dancing?

Blågårds plads in Nørrebro is hosting a big dance event by Metropolis. It will be quite spectacular when the 100 dancing Copenhagers perform the space specific choreography by Joanne Leighton. There are two performences at 4 and 7 o´clock PM. It sounds lie a unic experience. Read More

Son of Bob

He will never get rid of the legacy of his father: Reggae legend Ziggy Marley is on tour and he is presented in Vega on July 25^th. Ziggy is both doing some of his own stuff, but it shold be possible to hear some of Bob Marley classics as well.

Remember Aqua? Barbie Girl? They are headlining concerts sponsored by Tuborg Breweries, together with Lukas Graham, Danish Rock legends DAD and a bunch of other bands. The concert is in Valby Parken on sunday 29^th and starts at 1 PM. It might be a good idea to buy your ticket in advance.

Eclipse

Take a good look at the moon. On friday around 9.30 PM it turns all red, when there is a lunar eclipse during full moon. Its easy to see from the ground, and since its just after the rise of the moon in the east, it is best seen from the Amager Beach. You can bike out there, or take the Metro. And the weather should be bright and clear.
