Eating

In the last 10 – 15 years Denmark have gone through a food revolution. Before it was all meditiranean, or American, or German, or anything else. But then came NOMA, and the world changed. Today we have more Michelin Stars than ever before, and Copenhagen has become a school for gastronomy. Apprentices are flocking to work in a kitchen, under some Danish chef. Local ingrediences are abundant, and are seasonal, so that the route to the tabel is as short as possible. But you dont have to be a millionaire to in excellent eating. A lot of small cheap restaurants are popping up, and there are a lot of street food vendours around.
And again, there are loads of restaurants and so many to choose from. We give you a few of the best.
There are two new food markets: One at Christianshavn, on the other side of Inderhavnsbroen. And the other at the old shipyard where you can read about it here:  Reffen
